Nuxt Charts CLI

Install the current CLI with npm install -g nuxt-charts-cli@latest.

init installs and registers the Nuxt Charts module using Nuxt's module installer. All 11 chart types are available through the module. --ui also installs Nuxt UI.

Generate an API token at https://nuxtcharts.com/account/token, then save it:

Any paid account can create a CLI token. Components and blocks require All Access or Teams. A template requires its individual purchase or All Access. Payment status is checked by the server on each download, including refunds and disputes.

Use exact names from list. Source components, chart blocks, UI blocks, cards, and templates share the same catalog used by MCP. Blocks include local component, type, data, and composable dependencies, preserving their app/ paths. Components keep the existing app/components/<Name>/ layout. Templates download their complete repository and extract into ./<template-name> without the GitHub archive wrapper directory.

For blocks, --path is the Nuxt project root. For components and templates, it is their destination. Existing files are protected; use --force to overwrite them explicitly. Install errors return a nonzero exit status. Use --install-deps to install the bundle’s complete npm dependency list (including composable helpers such as perfect-debounce). Run nuxt-charts init --ui to register the modules; template projects contain their own package manifests.

NUXT_CHARTS_API_URL can point to a local/staging API for development and integration tests. Saved tokens are sent only to that API origin. Source installs always use the current deployed catalog; the optional positional version requests a historical component ZIP.

MCP connects at https://nuxtcharts.com/mcp using OAuth. It requires a verified account with a paid license, even for initialization and discovery. See https://nuxtcharts.com/docs/getting-started/mcp.
