@xcraftmind/mastermind
@xcraftmind/mastermind
Local repository context and task-evidence workflows for coding agents.
The package supplies a prebuilt binary as mastermind and mmcg.
It indexes source code, Markdown documentation, and Vue SFC script blocks with
source-backed symbols and relationships.
Quick start
Requires Node.js 24+. Run inside your repository:
npm install -g @xcraftmind/mastermind
mastermind init
The first run detects the active client, or installed Claude Code and Codex
clients. It scaffolds and indexes the project, installs workflows, enables the
profile and uses --mining task. The current agent proposes preference drafts,
saved locally after complete capture without a separate model request.
Use --client none for local indexing only.
Choices are saved in .mastermind/setup.json.
| Command | Purpose |

Restart the selected client and review its generated definitions in /hooks.
Registration does not establish client trust or a live connection. Use
--mining capture for collection without semantic analysis or
--profile-access off to disable profile delivery. Added task context and tools
consume the current client's usage. Drafts require review. Existing npm hooks
use the package launcher after updates.
