Importing Components

Kendo UI Compatibility

Built and tested against Kendo UI for Vue 6.4.1. Kendo packages are declared as peer dependencies (^6.4.1), so your application controls the installed Kendo version.

Peer Dependencies

• Required: vue (3.5+)
• Required for USAddress: @progress/kendo-vue-buttons, @progress/kendo-vue-dropdowns, @progress/kendo-vue-inputs, @progress/kendo-vue-labels
• Required for ActionCell: @progress/kendo-vue-buttons, @progress/kendo-vue-grid
• Optional, for useActionCellMenu: @progress/kendo-vue-popup, @progress/kendo-vue-layout — its popupProps and menuProps are spread onto a shared Kendo <Popup> and <Menu>
• Optional (types only): @progress/kendo-svg-icons — used by ActionCell icon typings

Styling

Component styles ship with @featherk/ui and are automatically loaded from the package ESM entry.

Build

Run from repository root:

npm run build -- --filter=@featherk/ui

Or run package-local:

npm run build

Maintainer Notes

• The build runs a first-party script that ensures dist/featherk-ui.es.js imports ./ui.css.
• New component scoped styles are included automatically when the component is exported through the root package entry.
• If runtime subpath entries are added later (for example @featherk/ui/address as a JS entry), each runtime entry must also import CSS to preserve zero-effort DX.
• For new component documentation, follow the docs authoring template in docs/README.md.
