@bugwalk/vue
Vue 3 adapter for Bugwalk. Installs as a plugin and hooks Vue's own
error handler, which catches render errors that never reach window.onerror.
Using Nuxt? Install @bugwalk/nuxt
instead.
Install
npm install @bugwalk/vue
Use
import { createApp } from 'vue';
import { bugwalk, instrumentRouter } from '@bugwalk/vue';
import App from './App.vue';
import router from './router';
const app = createApp(App);
app.use(bugwalk, { dsn: import.meta.env.VITE_BUGWALK_DSN });
app.use(router);
instrumentRouter(router); // optional, records `/orders/:id` instead of `/orders/8f21c4`
app.mount('#app');
Your existing app.config.errorHandler still runs; the plugin chains onto it rather than
replacing it.
In a component
<script setup lang="ts">
import { useBugwalk } from '@bugwalk/vue';
const { identify, capture } = useBugwalk();
function onSignIn(user) {
identify({ id: user.id, email: user.email });
}
</script>
Or through the global property: this.$bugwalk.capture('checkout_started').
Everything from @bugwalk/browser —
options, redaction, beforeSend, session handling — applies unchanged.
