@amulet-laboratories/rig-nuxt
@amulet-laboratories/rig-nuxt
Nuxt module for @amulet-laboratories/rig — auto-imports every Rig component and composable with full tree-shaking and SSR support. The name list is derived from Rig's own /manifest export, so it never falls behind when Rig ships new components.
Requires
@amulet-laboratories/rig≥ 3.0.0 — the version that folded Hex in, so the theme CSS now comes from the same package.
Install
pnpm add @amulet-laboratories/rig @amulet-laboratories/rig-nuxt
Theme CSS ships inside @amulet-laboratories/rig under the hex/ subpath — there is no
separate package to install. @amulet-laboratories/hex is deprecated on npm at its final
version, 0.8.0; do not add it.
Setup
// nuxt.config.ts
export default defineNuxtConfig({
modules: ['@amulet-laboratories/rig-nuxt'],
// Optional configuration
rig: {
// prefix: 'Rig', // RigButton, RigModal, etc.
// composables: true, // auto-import composables (default)
},
})
Usage
Components and composables are available everywhere without imports:
<template>
<Button variant="primary" @click="open = true">Open</Button>
<Modal v-model:open="open" aria-label="Example">
<p>Content</p>
</Modal>
</template>
<script setup lang="ts">
const open = ref(false)
const { activeShortcuts } = useKeyboard({ 'Mod+K': () => (open.value = true) })
</script>
Theming
Import a Hex theme in your Nuxt app entry:
// plugins/hex.client.ts
import '@amulet-laboratories/rig/hex/cobalt'
Or in nuxt.config.ts:
export default defineNuxtConfig({
css: ['@amulet-laboratories/rig/hex/cobalt'],
})
See the Hex README for the full theme roster.
Prefix
Avoid name collisions with the prefix option:
export default defineNuxtConfig({
rig: { prefix: 'Rig' },
})
Then use <RigButton>, <RigModal>, etc. in templates.
